Alderney may seem remote, but the island is well-connected. You can fly or sail to Alderney.

Alderney has its own airport (the first one to have been built in the Channel Islands), and its own harbour (Braye Harbour), protected by the famous Victorian landmark, the Breakwater.

Scheduled Air Services
There are daily scheduled direct flights from Southampton, Shoreham (Brighton International), Bournemouth , Jersey and Guernsey to Alderney, or you can reach Alderney from all major UK and International airports, by flying via Guernsey or Jersey. From there, you have frequent flight connections to Alderney which is only 15 minutes away from both islands.

Scheduled Ferries
“Victor Hugo”, a 199-passenger high speed catamaran, is operating a passenger service between Dielette (via Guernsey)  to Alderney from April through to September. The ferry operator is Manche Iles Express.

There are daily ferry services from the UK to Cherbourg, St.Malo, Guernsey and Jersey.
